Our menu is a celebration of local, seasonal produce, a unique and modern take on British ingredients, with simplicity at the core, and a focus on light, fresh and healthy dishes that are full of flavour and ingenuity.
Our farm-to-fork philosophy includes sourcing as much as we can from local suppliers: gamekeepers, farms, fisheries, cheesemakers and foragers, championing their produce and expertise throughout the year. This, in turn, actively helps us reduce our carbon footprint. We cook sustainably wherever we can, and, in partnership with the Sustainable Food Trust, we aim to set a new standard for sustainable food in the region.

NEW SUNDAY
LUNCH MENU
Introducing the new Woodcote Roast, an extravaganza of food for Sunday lunchtime, on the menu from this weekend.
Meals are for sharing, especially on a Sunday, so you will start with a board of little treats for the table. Dishes will change to reflect seasonality and what our head chef thinks will be the perfect fit of flavours for that week. Think arancini, beignets, delicate fresh vegetables and more. Mains include something for everyone, along with all the Sunday roast sides, with, of course, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshires. And then, yes, there’s always room for dessert.
The Woodcote Roast, three courses, £55 per person
With so much on our doorstep, including our bee colonies and soon-to-be plentiful kitchen garden, we rarely look beyond Sussex for our ingredients. In particular, the restaurant will serve local wild venison as a low carbon, ethical and healthy form of red meat, sourced from local woodland and in accordance with Natural England’s Deer Initiative directive. Our kitchen garden will also support our ambition for zero waste.
Our wine list is a curated blend of local sparkling and rosé, alongside a collection of international wines, including rare vintage Bordeaux and selected wines from the New World and across Europe.
